The short version: your loan details and your bills stay on your phone. We don't collect them, we can't see them, and there's nobody to sell them to.

ClearSight does not collect your personal information. There is no account to create, no sign-in, and no server holding your data. Everything you enter is calculated on your device and stays there.
ClearSight is made by Signal Holdings (WA) Pty Ltd (ACN 694 609 973) as trustee for the Signal Investment Trust, of 40 Ellen Stirling Parade, Ellenbrook WA 6069. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean that entity.
To show you a Mirror, ClearSight asks for information from your own documents — your loan amount, interest rate and term, or the rates and usage from an electricity or water bill.
That information is stored on your device only. It is not transmitted to us. It is not stored on any server we control. It is not backed up to us, shared with any bank, retailer or broker, or disclosed to anyone else.
If you delete the app, that information goes with it. We hold no copy and cannot retrieve it for you.
One thing, and it goes in the other direction. ClearSight downloads public benchmark data so it has something to measure against — the Reserve Bank's published average mortgage rate, the Synergy Home Plan A1 standard tariff, and Water Corporation's published tier rates. That download is a request for public information. It does not carry your details with it.
If you email us for support, we will have whatever you put in that email — your address and whatever you tell us. We use it to answer you and nothing else. Tell us if you want it deleted afterwards and we will delete it.
Australian privacy law gives you the right to ask what personal information an organisation holds about you, to have it corrected, and to complain about how it is handled.
For ClearSight the honest answer to the first question is: none. If you email us we will confirm that in writing. If you think we have handled something badly, write to us at the address below and we will respond. If you are not satisfied, you can take a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
ClearSight is a general-purpose tool. It is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, of any age.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the previous version is kept so the change is visible. We will not quietly begin collecting data and update the wording to match — if the architecture ever changes, it will be said plainly.
ClearSight gives general information based on the numbers you enter and the published benchmark shown. It is not financial advice, not a loan recommendation, and not a guarantee of savings. It may not account for every fee, discount, concession, rebate or account condition. Check your bill and your provider's current terms before acting.
